I have been a permanent Cocoa Beach resident since 2015. Since graduating Citizens' Academy in 2018 I have been a regular participant at City Commission meetings, giving me personal insight into the workings of the commission and personal relationships with commissioners and city managers past and present. I have volunteered with Matthew's Hope, United Way Vita, and Cocoa Beach Police and Fire Departments. I served on the advisory committee for City Hall design where we secured a green space 50% larger than the original plan. I am on the Board of Adjustments where I have taken solo stands against proposals that I felt were harmful to our residents and/or environment. I am closely monitoring the potential effects of Amendment 3 on our city and I will be Ready Day One to assume the responsibilities of the office. My vision for our future include a brighter more welcoming downtown that will be the center of activity for our residents and guests alike.
